What I Do:

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice since 1999 in San Francisco.

My approach to psychotherapy is integrative. That is, it seeks to unite a variety of therapeutic methods, including body-centered, mindfulness-based, and expressive-arts modalities. (For more information see Approach.)

A major focus of my work is to help clients in freeing themselves from the limiting beliefs and defensive patterns that can result from emotional wounding in childhood. These often manifest as emotional issues such as depression or anxiety, or as problems with work or relationships. Clients who work through these issues often are able to experience greater aliveness, creativity and fulfillment in their lives.

My particular interests are:

2. Trauma and recovery from childhood wounding.

3. Empowerment and self-esteem.

4. Body image and emotional eating.

5. Intimacy and relationship issues.
